Ai Photographer helps you take better pictures by using your Ai Pin’s built-in sensors to frame and edit images on your behalf. When you capture a photo, Ai Photographer captures three images in a burst to ensure the best results.

After the photo is captured, Ai Photographer automatically rotates it (if needed) and performs color correction and denoising. Ai Photographer uploads the images you capture and their location to Humane.Center, where you can view and share them.

Take a photo

You can take a photo by using touch, voice, or Laser Ink. Before taking a photo, make sure the lighting is adequate and the sensor glass is clean.

Using touch

  1. Use two fingers to tap twice on the touchpad.
  2. You’ll hear a tone that indicates Ai Photographer is about to capture the image. Remain still when you hear it. Then you’ll hear three tones and see the Trust Light flash green.

Using voice

  1. Press and hold one finger on the touchpad. You will see the Trust Light flashing orange and hear a chime indicating Ai Mic is listening.
  2. Say “Take a photo” or “Capture this.”
  3. Release your finger from the touchpad. The Trust Light will stop flashing and you will hear a chime indicating Ai Mic is no longer listening.
  4. When you initiate an image capture, you’ll hear a tone that indicates Ai Photographer is about to capture the image. Remain still when you hear it. Then you’ll hear three tones and see the Trust Light flash green.

Using Laser Ink

  1. Tap the touchpad with one finger to indicate you’d like to activate Laser Ink.
  2. Open your hand. You should see the Trust Light flashing white to indicate your Ai Pin is scanning for your hand.
  3. Once detected, the Laser Ink Display will project on your hand.
  4. Push out your hand a few more inches until you see the menu.
  5. Pick capture .
  6. Pick “photo.”
  7. You’ll see a countdown animation and hear three chimes.
  8. Lower your hand to take the photo and remain still.
  9. You’ll hear three tones and see the Trust Light flash green.

Preview a photo with Laser Ink

Open your hand to the Laser Ink Display to see a preview of the image. The preview is a low resolution thumbnail. If the image isn’t framed as you expected, you can take another one.

You can see a low-resolution version of your photo on Humane.Center as soon as it is captured. The full-resolution version of your photo will automatically upload to .Center the next time your Ai Pin is on the Charge Pad and connected to Wi-Fi. See Upload and view photos for more information.
