Using voice

1. Press and hold one finger on the touchpad. You will see the Trust Light flashing orange and hear a chime indicating Ai Mic is listening. 
2. Say “Call [contact name].” If the individual you’d like to call is not saved as a contact, say “Call [phone number].”
3. Release your finger from the touchpad. The Trust Light will stop flashing and you’ll hear a chime indicating Ai Mic is no longer listening. 
4. The Trust Light will flash magenta when the phone begins ringing.

Using Laser Ink

1. Tap the touchpad to activate Laser Ink.
2. Open your hand. You should see the Trust Light flashing white to indicate your Ai Pin is scanning for your hand.
3. Once detected, the Laser Ink Display will project on your hand.
4. Extend your hand a few more inches until you see the menu.
5. Pick phone . 
6. You will see the following options to call a contact, recent calls, or a manually entered number. 
   • If you pick “contacts,” you can scroll through your contacts and select the individual you’d like to call. 
   • If you pick “recent calls,” you can view your call log, scroll through, and pick the number you’d like to call. 
   • If you pick “dial a number,” move your hand forward and backward to pick the desired numbers. Then, pick  to initiate the call. 
7. The Trust Light will flash magenta when the phone begins ringing.
8. To end the phone call, use a single finger to double tap the touchpad.  

Tip: If you’d like to reach a business, you can ask your Pin to find the number and call it, all at once. For example: “Find the number for Crust Sourdough Deli in Santa Clara and call it.”

 

End a Call

To end a call, simply double-tap on the touchpad.
